Connecting with the right therapist
Taking the first step to seek therapy can feel daunting, and choosing the right person can feel overwhelming. Below is a little bit about me which will hopefully give you a sense of who I am and how I work. I am a fully qualified and registered counsellor and hypnotherapist, as well as a registered mental health nurse.

I have supported many clients over the years who have felt worried; to open up, to trust or to explore difficult emotions and experiences before starting therapy. During our sessions, they have found huge benefit as each session was personalised to them.

I offer a free 15 minute phone call so you can ask questions and get a feel of whether I could be the right person to support you, and equally I'll ask some questions to make sure I am the right person to support you too.

I have extensive experience in supporting people with trauma and/or eating disorders, however, I can also support people with anxiety, depression and OCD. I aim to build trust, transparency and a safe space where people can explore their difficulties at their own pace. I am trained in a range of approaches which allows me to adapt my approach to suit each person.
